Executive Summary
This project investigated whether green roofs can reduce building-level heat exposure and improve environmental performance in urban settings. Using temperature and building data, I modeled the relationship between roof type and thermal outcomes to evaluate whether green roof infrastructure was associated with measurable cooling benefits.
The project connects applied statistical modeling with a practical sustainability question: how cities can use design interventions to reduce heat, improve climate resilience, and support more evidence-based urban planning decisions.
